The Greedy and the Jealous
Two men once stood before a god.
The god said he would grant one wish to the first man,
and double the same wish to the second.
The first man was greedy.
He wanted all the money and treasure in the world.
But the second man was jealous.
He didn’t want his friend to get anything good.
So instead of asking for wealth, he said:
“God, take out one of my eyes.”
Because he knew if he lost an eye,
the greedy man would lose both eyes.
Moral / Warning：
- Greed makes you want too much.
- Jealousy hurts others, but destroys yourself even more.
